Transformed?
The Farmer's Daughter grew up on Fairfax between Merlose and 3rd St. when the area was not exactly what it is today. Back then, there was the historic Farmer's Market area, but no Grove shopping mall. There was 3rd St., but not all those cool shops. As the area revitalized in the late 90's, the Farmer's Daughter was also transformed from a simple country girl to an LA icon.
The critically acclaimed redesign has been featured in magazines and newspapers (read more Media Buzz) and just about everyone who knows the area can't forget the distinct décor of the outside. It's LA modern meets country kitsch. It's country-style rooms with down-home hospitality. It's just a great place to stay in the heart of LA.
