The Grove
Directly across the street from The Farmer's Daughter Hotel, The Grove offers shopping, dining, theatre, and entertainment all wrapped up in a beautiful outdoor area. Make sure to ask if there are any special events happening at the Grove like free concerts, because you won't want to miss them.

CBS Television City
Studios for many popular TV shows are found at CBS Television City, which is less than a mile away from The Farmer's Daughter Hotel. Shows like Price is Right, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, The Bold and The Beautiful, and the Late Late Show are filmed here. Attending a taping is definitely one of the most popular things to do in Hollywood!

The Historic Farmer's Market
The Farmers Market hasn't changed much since it began in 1934. If you are looking for a fresh meal, or just want to cruise the market and try different things, you're sure to spend a very pleasant few hours. You'll also find the freshest produce, gourmet meats and cheeses, made-to-order peanut butter, and always there are new additions. The Grove, an outdoor shopping plaza just next door, expands the market experience with a free trolley ride and dancing water shows every half hour in the central pond.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)
With over 100,000 different objects dating from ancient times to present day, The LACMA will keep you entertained and informed. Located only a couple blocks from the hotel, the museum is an easy walk. Be sure to stop at the front desk to inquire about any specials the museum might be running with the hotel.

The Beverly Center
Located just west of the hotel, the Beverly Center is a mall that with an incredible selection of shops: there is literally something for everyone. Not only does it include retail stores and restaurants, but the mall also has a 13-screen movie theatre.

Melrose Shopping District
Just a couple of blocks away, Melrose Ave. has enough stores to keep you shopping all day. On Melrose Ave. you will find some of the most internationally recognized fashion houses, such as Marc Jacobs, Diane von Fürstenberg, Carolina Herrera, Mulberry, Sergio Rossi, Alexander McQueen, BCBG Max Azria, Paul Smith, John Varvatos, Balenciaga, and Diesel.

The Historic Canter's Deli
Canter's Delicatessen has been a Los Angeles landmark since 1931. Enjoy phenomenal Jewish food in the same location where movies and TV episodes have been shot, and countless LA deals have been made. You're also likely to spot a celebrity in a booth or at the bar - it's a favorite haunt of rock musicians and show biz personalities. Canter's is not only a great meal, but truly one of the fun things to do in LA.

La Brea Tar Pits
Located in Hancock Park about a mile from the Farmer's Daughter Hotel, the La Brea Tar Pits is a unique attraction: you'll see Ice Age fossils from many different kinds of species. The big pit is still oozing the sticky tar like substance that fossilized the ancient species found there. On the first Tuesday of every month, admission to the La Brea Tar Pits is free.

NoHo (North Hollywood)
The NoHo is an art district full of galleries, public art, live theatres, vintage clothes stores, ethnic restaurants and cafes. A full day can easily be spent walking around NoHo and taking in the sights.

West Hollywood Attractions
